My weekend BATH time

The moment I stepped off the train, cold wind breezed to my back and I am fully awake after the 1 hour  45 mins journey from London. Here we are, Bath. Yes, Bath again.

This is my fourth time to visit Bath, mainly to meet up my old friend which i have known him since kindergarten age. This time, we bring along another high school friend for a small re-union and introduce him to this beautiful city full of Georgian townhouses. Hmm, i think of Mr. Darcy.

We had the famous Sally Lunn's Bun for our brunch of the day. The restaurant is one of the world's most famous eating houses and keeping the original kitchen that had been used for baking the bun in the 1680s.
Of course, we tried the famous Bath Bun, with the Trencher Lunch. Trencher breads are popular in the Georgian times in England. The small little house with very old British style decorations:  wooden stairs, vintage-framed mirrors, old paintings, chimneys and fireplace.

We ordered four different lunch sets, from top to below: Sally Lunn's Club Bun Sandwich, Trencher lunch with chicken breast in cheese leek and bacon sauce, Trencher lunch with steak in gravy, DESSERT victoria sponge cake with clotted cream. I would recommend the chicken breast and victoria sponge most:)

After lunch, we walked around the town centre in the sound of music and reached The Circus. Autumn leaves falling in this 18th century ring-shaped Georgian architecture painted a magnificant picture. Sometimes i wonder how people built this without today's technology. Further we walked, we saw the Royal Crescent, another famous tourist spot in this beautiful city and...we started taking selfies lol (enjoy!)

enjoying it huh? great:) we were just getting bored of normal "say cheese" photo, so we started tickling each other and ended up LOL.

We then walked back to the city centre to go for another side of the town and we found one petite gallery. They have special exhibition which customers can customise their own portraits in the paintings.

We continued and reached the Pulteney Bridge and (we took some more selfies)

Somehow people don't know how much fun we are enjoying from taking selfies, one old man come and ask us, "Do you guys need help? I can take a picture for you guys (grin)" "Sure, thank you"

Okay, no more selfies.
Enjoy the rest of few more pictures and that's my trip to Bath!!!
